Professor with more than 24 years of experience in patient management and teaching. Has keen interest in the management of High risk Pregnancy, Advanced Endoscopic surgery  Gynae Oncology. Trainer of Emergency Obstetrics Care EmOC, Awarded with Certification of Appreciation by FOGSI, ICOG jointly with Health  Family Welfare GOI. Life member of AOGD,NARCHI, DGES  FOGSI. Served as Member secretary of Institutional Ethical Committee ESI Basaidarapur from 2011 to 2021  served as Academic Registrar ESI Basaidarapur from 2011 to 2015. Has numerous publications in the indexed journals.Received the Best Paper in senior category in the Journal of Obstetrics  Gynaecology of India 2020. 
 

The Department of Obstetrics  Gynaecology is one of  the  busiest  department in ESIPGIMSR , Basaidara pur  Hospital, providing comprehensive medical care for safe motherhood, population stabilisation and protection of women’s health in all stages of their life. The department provides  tertiary care services  to all attending ESI beneficiaries  and also to all referred    patients from other ESI hospitals of  Delhi  NCR  . 
Department has strength of 125 beds. 
Services  Provided -

•    Complete antenatal, intranatal normal and operative deliveries and post natal services.
•    High-Risk Obstetrics.
•    Gynecology outpatient and inpatient care
•    Obstetrics Gynecologic Surgery including cancer surgery.
•    24 hour Obstetrics Gynaecology emergency services.
•    Family Planning and Contraception all options - family planning clinic daily.
•    Medical termination of pregnancy-by medicines and by surgical method depending on duration of pregnancy.
•    Diagnosis and treatment of infertility including ovulation induction, insemination  in  Infertility clinic daily .
•    ESIC IVF   Fertility Centre is  well estabilished and  provides  Assisted reproductive services   
•    Gynae-cancer screening including Pap smear, VIA and colposcopy and treatment- cancer clinic once a week special clinic.
•    Ultrasonography.
•    Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopy Techniques surgeries.
